What is Flange Head?

What Are the Materials Used for Flange Bolts
- High carbon steel (0.45%)
- Medium carbon steel (0.25%) is mainly used in grade 8 nuts, grade 8.8 bolts, and grade 8.8 hexagon socket fasteners
- Low Carbon steel (0.25%) is also called A3 steel. Mainly used for grade 4.8 bolts, grade 4 nuts, and small screws.
- Alloy Steel (alloying) is added to ordinary carbon steel to increase the special properties of the material.
