Railroads have existed since at least the 6th century BC, where in Greece the Diolkos wagonway could take boats about four miles. Today, rail transportation is a common means of getting to and from almost anywhere, whether that’s the daily work commute or even out of state. The construction of railroads is an increasingly important job. Make sure you have the right railroad products and supplies for the project ahead by working with Copper State Bolt & Nut Co.

Diamond Bolts

Diamond bolts are intended for diamond maintenance projects and builds. These durable bolts come with various heads, such as the heavy-duty hex head with pointed or blunt edges. All diamond bolts from Copper State are Grade 8. The heavy-duty hex head diamond bolt can handle the most amount of train traffic without coming undone. With a locking nut and locking washers, installation is simple.

Frog Bolts

Frog bolts are intended to connect with frog maintenance and build applications. Just like with diamond, Copper State only sells Grade 8 frog bolts. Choose from the heavy-duty hex head with or without a point, the standard-duty hex head, the thin hex head and the heavy-duty square head with or without a point.

Standard-duty hex heads can only handle a middle range of train traffic, while thin hex heads quickly connect. For the best in stability over time in all sorts of different environmental and weather conditions, the frog heavy-duty square head bolt is the right choice.

Neck Track Bolts

When constructing a railroad, you need fasteners and bolts that connect together easily. Neck track bolts from Copper State are compatible with any of the diamond or frog bolts mentioned above. This button head oval neck track bolt is a Grade 8 product that should be used for standard duty tracks.
